Hey, all! Sorry I haven’t responded sooner, I’ve been busy finishing up The Helium Report.

@ Kam – it’s always a wild ride with the contest rankings.

@ Karen – That’s my objective – let folks try it on for size, you know?

@ Laura – Thank you!

@ John – I read your post and I’ve got to say, the Helium you dealt with then is very different from the one I’ve experienced. I don’t know if they’ve had a shake-up or what, but I’d be severely turned off if I’d gone through what you did!

@ Jena – Thankya! I hope you can, too. That’s the point of my blog – to help Internet writers to achieve their dreams.

@ Robert – There’s a good reason why some of the writing is less-than-stellar at Helium. See, Helium is a place where anyone can write. As such, you get a good bit of garbage. But that’s where the rating system comes in: better written articles tend to rise to the top of the ratings. And, at the end of the day, I’m OK with that. I feel like even less-than-stellar writers need a place to cut their teeth. Helium allows them to do it in an environment where they can actually get some peer critiques.

A lot of the writing on Helium is terrible. My first impression of the articles was very poor. I hope that more publicity, like this post, will help it improve. Roberts last blog post..Extending quality across all domains

I’m glad to hear you are having success with Helium. I had a fairly uninspiring run-in with them last summer and have stayed away from them since.
